Crochet Maxi Dress

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing one of my resort wear looks that I wore during Miami Swim Week. I stayed at the beautiful Thompson Hotel in South Beach and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful view! Although, just wait until you see our photos from the rooftop of the 1 Hotel. Now that view is breathtaking!

As you all know, I just returned from Miami Swim Week and man was it haute! I still managed to cool down but that’s probably because I live in Louisiana where it feels even hotter! As for the people of Miami, they were all so beautiful like Greek gods and goddesses. I swear only models live in South Beach.  Ok…so maybe I’m exaggerating a tad about everyone looking like models, but I’m serious when I say it that it was hot as Haiti there! I tried to only wear lightweight rompers and flowy dresses like this ivory crochet maxi dress from Calypso St. Barth. I felt like I fit right in once I slipped it on before heading to the pool bar at Thompson Hotel. Speaking of the Thompson Hotel, it is by far the most adorable boutique hotel that I have ever stepped foot in. Everything felt so fancy there which is exactly why I was able to get away with wearing this stunning bohemian maxi dress in the courtyard by the pool. I just love the all of the crochet details and iridescent embellishment on the tassels. Normally, I don’t wear low cut tops and dress, but the plunging neckline on this maxi dress balances out with the full skirt of the dress so it works! Speaking of the full skirt, it’s lined with three layers of luxurious silk fabrics, which gives the dress that elegant and romantic look.
